Hola
Hay que parametrizar la línea, sus puntos cumplen :
x=y
\( x^2+y^2+z^2=1\Rightarrow{2x^2+z^2=1}\Rightarrow{z=\pm{\sqrt[ ]{1-2x^2}}} \)
En consecuencia la línea tomando como parámetro x se puede considerar como la reunión de 2 líneas, ambas son semicircunferencias :
\( \alpha_1:J_1\rightarrow{R^3} \)
\( x\rightarrow{\alpha_1(x)=(x,x,\sqrt[ ]{1-2x^2})} \)
\( \alpha_2:J_2\rightarrow{R^3} \)
\( x\rightarrow{\alpha_2(x)=(x,x,-\sqrt[ ]{1-2x^2})} \)
El integral de línea para la primera será : \( \displaystyle\int_{C_1}^{} \delta (\alpha_1(x)) \ \left\|{\alpha_1'(x)}\right\| \ dx \) el intervalo del parámetro se obtiene de los puntos de la línea que están en el plano XY es decir z=0 esto implica \( 2x^2=1\Rightarrow{\left |{x}\right |=\displaystyle\frac{1}{\sqrt[ ]{2}}}\Rightarrow{J=[-1/\sqrt[ ]{2},1/\sqrt[ ]{2}]} \) con eso el integral queda \( \displaystyle\int_{-1/\sqrt[ ]{2}}^{1/\sqrt[ ]{2}} \delta (\alpha_1(x)) \ \left\|{\alpha_1'(x)}\right\| \ dx \) se puede observar que el integral de la segunda línea será igual entonces la masa m será : \( m=2 \ \displaystyle\int_{-1/\sqrt[ ]{2}}^{1/\sqrt[ ]{2}} \delta (\alpha_1(x)) \ \left\|{\alpha_1'(x)}\right\| \ dx \)
Saludos
Está claro. No sé si lo has resuelto pero me ha dado por esta via \( \displaystyle\frac{\pi}{32} \)
\( m=\displaystyle\int_{C}\left(1-2x^2\right)\,y^4\,dl \) Si: \( z=\pm{\sqrt[ ]{1-2x^2}} \), entonces: \( \left(\displaystyle\frac{dz}{dx}\right)=\mp{\displaystyle\frac{2x}{\sqrt[ ]{1-2x^2}}} \)
\( m=\displaystyle\int_{C}\left(1-2x^2\right)\,x^4\,\left\{\pm{\sqrt[ ]{2+\displaystyle\frac{4x^2}{1-2x^2}}\,dx}\right\}=\displaystyle\int_{-\sqrt[ ]{2}/2}^{\sqrt[ ]{2}/2}\left(1-2x^2\right)\,x^4\,\sqrt[ ]{\displaystyle\frac{2}{1-2x^2}}\,dx-\displaystyle\int_{\sqrt[ ]{2}/2}^{-\sqrt[ ]{2}/2}\left(1-2x^2\right)\,x^4\,\sqrt[ ]{\displaystyle\frac{2}{1-2x^2}}\,dx \)
\( m=2\sqrt[ ]{2}\displaystyle\int_{-\sqrt[ ]{2}/2}^{\sqrt[ ]{2}/2}x^4\,\sqrt[ ]{1-2x^2}\,dx=2\sqrt[ ]{2}\displaystyle\int_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}\displaystyle\frac{1}{4}\,\sen^4\left(\theta\right)\,\sqrt[ ]{1-\sen^2\left(\theta\right)}\,\displaystyle\frac{\sqrt[ ]{2}}{2}\,\cos\left(\theta\right)\,d\left(\theta\right)=\displaystyle\frac{1}{2}\,\displaystyle\int_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}\sen^4\left(\theta\right)\,\cos^2\left(\theta\right)\,d\left(\theta\right) \)
\( m=\displaystyle\frac{1}{2}\,\displaystyle\int_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}\left(\sen\left(\theta\right)\,\cos\left(\theta\right)\right)^2\,\sen^2\left(\theta\right)\,d\left(\theta\right)=\displaystyle\frac{1}{16}\,\displaystyle\int_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}\sen^2\left(2\theta\right)\,\left(1-\cos\left(2\theta\right)\right)\,d\left(\theta\right)=\displaystyle\frac{1}{32}\,\displaystyle\int_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}\left(1-\cos\left(2\theta\right)\right)\,d\left(\theta\right)-\displaystyle\frac{1}{32}\,\displaystyle\int_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}\sen^2\left(2\theta\right)\,d\left(\sen\left(2\theta\right)\right) \)
\( m=\displaystyle\frac{\pi}{32}-\displaystyle\frac{1}{64}\,\,\sen\left(2\theta\right)\Big]_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2}-\displaystyle\frac{1}{96}\,\,\sen^3\left(2\theta\right)\Big]_{-\pi/2}^{\pi/2} \)
\( m=\displaystyle\frac{\pi}{32} \)
Gracias.
