Sea \( C_\left\{{0,1}\right\}:[0,1]\longrightarrow{R} \) ,el conjunto de todas las funciones continuas definidas en [0,1] consideremos f y g en C[0,1] y definimos la función \( d: C_\left\{{0,1}\right\} \times C_\left\{{0,1}\right\}\longrightarrow{R^+} \) tal que: d(f,g)=\( \sup\left\{{\left |{f(x) -g(x)}\right |}\right\}: x\in{[0,1]} \)
a) Hallar \( d(f,g) \) y \( d(g,h) \) siendo \( f(x)=x \) , \( g(x)= x/4 +1/4 \) , \( h(x)=x^2 \)
b) Probar que \( (C_\left\{{0,1}\right\},d) \) es un espacio métrico,sabiendo que para cualquier terna de funciones f,g y h del conjunto \( C_\left\{{0,1}\right\}] \) se verifica que: \( d(f,g)\leq{d(f,h) + d(h,g)} \)
Buenas tardes!
Tengo este ejercicio para resolver y estoy teniendo algunos inconvenientes de cómo arrancar.
Espero puedan ayudarme.
