Buenas, necesito calcular el volumen de un sólido limitado por el plano, el cilindro y el cono:
\(
\displaystyle z= 0 \quad\quad x^2+y^2=2x \quad\quad z=\sqrt{x^2+y^2}
\)
Dado que:
\(
\displaystyle r^2=x^2+y^2 \quad\quad x=r\cos\theta \quad \quad y=r\sin\theta
\)
tenemos, por un lado:
\(
\displaystyle r^2=2r\cos\theta \quad \textrm{luego} \quad r(r-2\cos\theta)=0 \quad \textrm{luego} \quad 0\leq r\leq 2\cos\theta \quad \textrm{y} \quad 0\leq \theta \leq 2\pi
\)
y por el otro:
\(
\displaystyle z=\sqrt{r^2} \quad \textrm{luego} \quad z= r
\)
Integrando, tenemos:
\(
\displaystyle\int_{0}^{2\pi}\int_{0}^{2\cos\theta}rrdrd\theta=\int_{0}^{2\pi}\int_{0}^{2\cos\theta}r^2drd\theta=
\int_{0}^{2\pi}\frac{r^3}{3}\Big|_0^{2\cos\theta} d\theta= \frac{8}{3}\int_{0}^{2\pi}cos^3\theta d\theta = \frac{8}{3}(\sin\theta-\frac{sin^3\theta}{3})\Big|_0^{2\pi}= 0
\)
No consigo entender qué estoy haciendo mal y por qué me da 0.
