Pregunta 1:
Definiciones previas
Dado un grupo \( G \) y elementos \( x,y \in G \) se define el conmutador de \( x \) e \( y \) como el elemento \( [x, y] := xyx^{-1}y^{-1} \). Si \( H, K \leq{G} \), entonces se define el conmutador de \( H \) y \( K \) como \( [H, K] := 〈{[h, k] : h ∈ H, k ∈ K}〉 \). El conmutador de \( G \) se define como \( [G, G]. \)
i) Pruebe que \( Z(G) = \{x ∈ G | [x, g] = e, ∀g ∈ G\}. \)
ii) Si \( H ≤ G \) es tal que \( gHg^{-1} = H \) para todo \( g \in G \) y \( H \cap{[G, G]} = {e} \), entonces, \( Z(H) = Z(G) \cap{H} \)
Pregunta 2:
Considere el grupo de Heisenberg \( H(R) := \left\{\begin{pmatrix}
1 & a & c \\
0 & 1 & b \\
0 & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix} | a,b,c \in R\right\}
\) con R anillo conmutativo con unidad.
i) Calcule \( Z(H(R)) \)
ii) Demuestre que \( H(\mathbb{Z}) \) tiene dos generadores \( x = \begin{pmatrix}
1 & 1 & 0 \\
0 & 1 & 0 \\
0 & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix}
\) e \( y= \begin{pmatrix}
1 & 0 & 0 \\
0 & 1 & 1 \\
0 & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix}
\)
Pruebe que \( s:= [x,y] \) conumuta con \( x \) y con \( y \). Pruebe que \( s \) es generador de \( Z(H(\mathbb{Z})) \)
Pregunta1
i) Recordemos que \( Z(G) = \{x \in G | xg = gx, \forall g \in G\} \).
Sean \( h \in Z(H) \) y \( g \in G \) arbitrario y considere el elemento \( [h,g] \). Notemos que \( [h,g] = hgh^{-1}g^{-1}=h(gh^{-1}g^{-1}) \in H \), pues \( gHg^{-1} = H \) y \( H\leq{G} \). Por otro lado, sea \( x \in Z(G) \cap{H} \) \( \Longleftrightarrow{x \in H\wedge x\in Z(G)} \)\( \Longrightarrow{x \in H\wedge x \in Z(H)} \) \( \Longleftrightarrow{x \in Z(H)\cap{H} = Z(H)} \). Concuimos que \( Z(H) = Z(G)\cap{H} \)
Pregunta 2:
i)Me da algo de pereza escribir todo el desarrollo, así que sólo diré cómo lo hice. Tomé una matriz arbitraria \( A= \begin{pmatrix}
1 & a & c \\
0 & 1 & b \\
0 & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix} \) en \( Z(H(R)) \) y una matriz \( B = \begin{pmatrix}
1 & a' & c' \\
0 & 1 & b' \\
0 & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix} \in H(R) \). Encontrando las inversas de las matrices y efectuando el producto llegué a la condición \( ab'=a'b \). Luego, \( a=b=0 \). Por tanto, \( A \) pertenece al generado por \( w= \begin{pmatrix}
1 & 0 & 1 \\
0 & 1 & 0 \\
0 & 0 & 1
\end{pmatrix} \)
Por tanto, \( Z(H(R)) = \left<{w}\right> \).
Pregunta 3
Sabemos que \( Z(H \times K) = Z(H) \times Z(K) \). De ahí, (omitiré la deducción) tenemos que \( Z(D_{2024})=\{id,r^{1012}\} \) y \( Z(SL(4,\mathbb{F}_{13}))=\{\lambda I_n| \lambda\in \mathbb{F^{x}}_{13} \wedge \lambda⁴ = 1\} \). Por tanto, \( ord(\lambda)|4 \). De ahí, (a mano)...no sé si habrá otro modo más elegante, encontre que \( \lambda\in \{1,12,5,8\} \). Con eso podemos responder a la pregunta.
Saludos y desde ya muchas gracias
